About this directory
Oil Tank Directory helps homeowners, buyers, and sellers find firms that already appear on public state tank/UST certification lists.
Oil Tank Directory is a public certification lookup and comparison site. We are not a contractor, and we do not perform tank removal, testing, or cleanup. We list firms that appear on publicly published state certification or service-provider lists. Always verify a firm's current license or certification with the issuing state agency before hiring.
How it works
- We ingest official public lists (PDF, XLSX, or agency HTML directories).
- We normalize names, phones, cert IDs, and cities when the source publishes them.
- We generate state, city, and firm pages that cite the source.
- You verify the license on the state's own site before hiring.
What we don't do
- Perform contractor work
- Publish fake reviews, ratings, or addresses
- Create a Google Business Profile for this directory as if it were a local contractor
- Claim we are affiliated with EPA or any state agency
